A: No, admission badges are non-transferable and must be used only by the individual to whom they are issued. Note that visitors must present a valid ID along with their JGW badge to access the show floor.
Q: I’m from the press. How can I register for a media badge?
A: Media badges are available to reporters, editors, broadcasters and content creators (such as vloggers) covering JGW. Pre-registration and approval for media accreditation are required to receive a press badge, which grants access to the show floor and the Media Office.
To qualify, you will need to provide proof of your role as a working journalist by submitting work samples and links to your coverage for a recognised media organisation. Content creators may also apply if their content focuses on industries relevant to JGW, such as jewellery and luxury. Press badges can only be collected at JGW’s Media Offices, located on Level 1 of the Central Concourse of the AWE and on Hall 1D Concourse of the HKCEC. When collecting your press badge, please provide your business card and present a valid photo ID (eg. Hong Kong Identity Card, Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau or a National Passport).
